We all know last Christmas was a complete dud…which means I’m doing all of the seasonal things this year – including sending personalised printed Christmas cards!
I may have yet to start my Christmas shopping this year, but at least I’ve got some pretty personalised printed Christmas cards to send!
Christmas is my favourite time of the year, so naturally, I hated last year when we didn’t really have Christmas. In fact, I even worked Christmas Day – and that’s not something I want to repeat anytime soon! This year, however, I’m already well into the Christmas mood – and have been since we visited ReykjavÃk in mid-November.
Since coming home, it seems like everyone is already in the Christmas spirit. Although some people say getting in the spirit before December may be a bit too early, I don’t care! The earlier the better I say.

One thing I wanted to do this year is to send Christmas cards to my nearest and dearest. I haven’t sent or given out Christmas cards in a long time – probably not since I was little and my mum made me go around the close and deliver them to all our neighbours by hand, haha! So doing something classically Christmas that I haven’t done in so long was something I’ve been really looking forward to.
There’s just something about picking out the perfect card and settling down to write them – usually listening to Christmas music in the background! It’s a nice tradition, particularly since people don’t really send handwritten letters or anything like that these days. So a nice message in a Christmas card is a really thoughtful touch.
I was kindly gifted some personalised printed Christmas cards from Aura Print, to help fulfil that wish. Aura Print is a company that offers an extensive collection of not just Christmas cards but also tags, flyers, business cards, banners, booklets, signage, stickers and more.
Their Christmas cards, in particular, can be printed with any design in any size or fold you need – from over 40 hand-selected paper types! There’s also the choice of luxury foil Christmas cards for a more modern and stylish design. Aura Print offer a quick turnaround of just 2 days and you can order in bulk too, which makes them perfect for businesses or anyone with a large social list!
They also offer pre-made templates too, if you’re unsure of where to start. I think this is also a great idea as I can be quite picky with card designs – I’m not really a fan of ‘humourous’ or joke cards – nor anything too corny or cliche – so by being able to view different pre-made templates and designs, I could get more of an idea of what I wanted.

I opted for a simple design featuring a classic snowglobe and pretty lettering displaying a sweet message both on the front of the card and the inside. I particularly liked the gold letter detailing too that helped the message stand out more. As you can see, the card also included a thoughtful message inside and plenty of space to write my own – as well as some more imagery in the bottom corner.
I really love the quality of the cards and think the design is perfect for what I wanted – something thoughtful but simple. I’ve already enjoyed starting to fill them out.
Even better: their configuration tool allows you to get a quote instantly, with print options ranging from soft-touch lamination, single or double-sided printing and a top fold or side fold. The foil designs can also be printed on square or rectangular paper stock, including recycled, uncoated, silk, conqueror and colorplan paper.
Additionally, the entire process of picking and ordering my cards was really easy and straightforward – in fact, the only ‘tough’ part was trying to pick a design, as they were all so pretty!
Aura Print also offers personalised Christmas tags, which you can choose to match your Christmas cards or create individual tags by who you’re giving the gift too. If you’re trying to be a bit more sustainable this year and reusing old wrapping paper, this is the perfect way to ensure the gift tags match – and of course, you only need to order as many as you need.
I was really pleased with my Christmas cards that arrived two days after ordering – just in time for my Christmas meal out with my family last night!
Have you ever opted for personalised printed Christmas cards? Do you enjoy writing out Christmas cards at this time of year? Let me know!
*Please note, these Christmas cards were kindly gifted by Aura Print, but all views and opinions are entirely my own.
