I don’t know about you but I am absolutely addicted to The Circle right now. As someone who used to watch Big Brother back in the day (I swiftly gave up watching after Donny Tourette caused havoc in the house, fell in the pool then escaped by climbing over the wall. That was the last interesting episode for me and it all went downhill from there…), it’s nice to watch something that’s a bit more refreshing and up to date with modern society.
That being said, I think my favourite part of the show so far is the gorgeous decor! It’s an instagrammers dream. Geometric rose gold accessories, statement print walls and more cactuses you can shake your stick at: the deco is bang on trend but still effortlessely stylish; taking into account all the latest fashion in home decor without being too over the top. I LOVE IT.
It soon became obvious to me that the cute deco can easily be achieved on the cheap: I mean everytime I walk into Primark I almost walk away with every damn accessory decorating The Circle’s flats. So I decided to do a little post showing you how you can re-create the post on a more affordable budget: afterall, not everyone can go on the show and win a £50,000 prize!
It’s not spot on but for £40 it’s close enough, right?! You can also pick up many cactuses anywhere these days (Primark, IKEA, Wilkies) and simple white sleek shelves are always easily obtained by IKEA. The bold prints can be a little more pricey, but again, it depends where you get them from. Splurge out on something really out there or create your own print!
Have you been lusting after all the flat deco on The Circle like me? Will you be taking a trip to Primark soon to re-create the look? Let me know!
