I skipped this post last month because I was too busy starting a new job, moving to a new town and getting my heart broken. *sob* But now I’m back and somewhat scheduling blog posts a bit better! I’m also beginning to enjoy the idea of these posts a lot more because for the first time in so long I have weekends and evenings off so can actually plan ahead and do things with my life!
Anyway. Though we’re still waiting for actual warm weather, at least it’s not snowing anymore. Here’s what we’ve got to look forward to this month.
Jeepers Creepers 3 hits Netflix this month, which has surprised me because I knew they were making a third movie in the near future but I thought it was later this year! Was it even shown in cinemas? Who knows. It can’t be amazing if it wasn’t, but considering the Jeepers Creepers movies were hella creepy when I was a teenager, I kinda have to watch it. But I’m refusing to watch alone. I know nothing about the film except it actually takes place between the first and second movie.
Jeepers Creepers 3 will be available from the 10th.
THE TV SERIES
Westworld season two is finally here. I was addicted to the first season, although it took me a while to sit down and get into it because there was so much going on and it was tough to understand and get my head around. But it’s the type of show that really gets you thinking and I felt like a lot of questions were left unanswered from the previous season. I think there’s a lot to expect with this season though, with possibly a new theme/storyline (Samurai World), human’s now being able to be hurt and the robots hitting back/becoming entirely self aware. I think. I probably haven’t explained that right but that’s my loose interpretation – like I said, it’s a lot to understand! Which isn’t surprising considering J. J. Abrams is the producer..
The first episode of Westworld is available now.
Always Never Yours by Emily Wibberley tells the story of Megan Harper, a girl who is always the one before the one. AKA ME. All of her ex’s go on to meet their true loves after being with her AND THIS IS SO ME. WHY DIDN’T I WRITE A BOOK ABOUT THIS? Anyway it’s a young adult novel where she stars in a play and meets a boy and the usual but I’m curious to see if this book actually addresses the ‘being the one before the one’ feeling once she meets her new love interest.
Always Never Yours will be released on the 22nd.
Rooftop Film Club is back this month! The quirky cinema experience allows movie fans to enjoy films on the rooftops of some of London’s most coolest and iconic buildings such as The Bussey Building, Roof East & the Queen of Hoxton. As well as offering awesome views over the capital, you can also get yummy food and drink too. I’ve blogged about it in the past and it’s so much fun. This summer’s highlights include Black Panther, Star Wars: The Last Jedi (on May the 4th, of course) and Jumanji: Welcome to the Jungle – as well as old classics too.
Rooftop Film Club is back from the 3rd.
The best thing about having your own place is having a pimpin’ entertainment system, with Netflix, Xbox and cool TV channels. Being able to watch whatever you want at anytime of day or night definitely doesn’t get old. But I have been worrying about how the hell I’m going to be able to watch Westworld since I don’t have NOWTV and don’t want to pay for multiple months just to watch the show uploaded weekly. I was thinking I’d have to wait until the entire season was on there just to save money – imagine the spoilers! Turns out though NOWTV have got my back – and everyone else’s. They’ve launched a deal especially to watch it. You can get a three month entertainment pass for just £14.47 – but beware, it’s for new users only. So get someone else to sign up. BRB, off to harass my Dad…
What are you looking forward to this month? Let me know!
